Dogwood Terrace Restaurant in historic Acworth is a full-service restaurant offering the perfect setting for your celebration or to enjoy a fine meal from an award-winning menu. Sunday Brunch is a special treat. What are you craving? Our slow-cooked Beef Short Ribs are a favorite among guests, as is our fresh, wild salmon, served on top of a corn and potato cake with wilted spinach. Be sure to save some room. You'll want to top off your dinner with coffee and one of our delicious homemade desserts.
Dogwood Terrace was created with heavy timber frame construction. The timbers were harvested within 30 miles of the restaurant and custom-cut in Cartersville. All joinery and assembly work was completed on-site. The main restaurant features a yellow pine ceiling and quarter sawn white oak wainscoting and doors. The bar is live edge Padauk, an African rosewood known as the 'wood of kings,' as King Solomon, it is told, used the wood in his palaces. The Clubroom combines white oak, red oak and yellow pine. The floors are Turkish travertine. The outdoor patio is white oak. The fireplaces are built of native Elberton granite from Georgia. Outdoor siding is cypress from southeast Georgia and the roof is made from recycled rubber tires.
Dogwood Terrace has won numerous awards for Chef Steve's famous dishes (see photo below):
